This small broadleaved woodland contains an old quarry, which would make an idyllic away from it all camping site. There is a mixture of older oak coppice woodland and younger areas of ash.
 
The Sterridge Valley is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning north Devon coats. Exmoor National park is nearby, making the location of this wood perfect for weekend visits.
